Welcome to the Marblehead Female Humane Society, Marblehead’s Oldest Charitable Organization.
- A Message to the Community from Barbara Spiess Miller, Directress
In these uncertain and challenging times, as we grapple with the spread of COVID-19, the Marblehead Female Humane Society wants to remind you that we are here for the citizens of Marblehead.
Individual requests for financial assistance must be referred through a third party. We urge you to contact our partners at the Marblehead Counseling Center, the Marblehead Housing Authority, the Council on Aging and the Food Pantry, or speak to your local clergy.
For a full listing of local social service resources, please visit the town website at marblehead.org and click on the community resources link. We are here for you and together we will get through this! Stay well.
For over 200 years, the Marblehead Female Humane Society has remained faithful to its original mission of quietly and respectfully helping Marblehead residents in need.
